  Digital wireless communication is not a new idea. Earlier,  Morse code   was used to implement wireless networks. Modern digital wireless systems have better performance, but the basic idea is the same. Some companies got together to design a short-range wireless network called  Bluetooth  to connect various components such as monitor, keyboard, mouse and printer, to the main unit, without wires.
